You haven't been paying attention, have you. As I keep trying to point out, but it seems to be falling on deaf ears, the USA has already been doing plenty about the EU.
Check out the provisions of the US Serviceman's Protection Act. Under this curious piece of legislation, the Kingdom of The Netherlands. a founding member of the EU, a member of NATO, and an ally ( as if that means anything anymore ) of the USA since New York was New Amsterdam, is under permanent threat of invasion by said USA.
"No !" I hear there innocent reader gasp in amazement, "How could my government have done such a thing ?"
Well, since the new ICC ( International Criminal Court ) was established in Den Hague, the capital of the Netherlands, the USA has refused to recognise it's international legitimacy, despite the fact that is was set up under the same auspices as the Geneva Conventions, and set up largely to deal with war crimes cases.
Here's the rub. The Commander in Chief of the US Armed Forces is the President of the USA, right, at present one George Dubya Arbusto. The provisions of the US Servicemen's Protection Act allow that, should some US serviceman be imprisoned in the Netherlands, awaiting trial in the ICC, then Congress has already, in advance of the fact, authorised the executive, i.e. the Presidency to launch an invasion of said Netherlands, in order, ostensibly, to recover such beleaguered US servicemen.
Of course, if Corporal Joe Blow happened to fall foul of the ICC, one doubts that any such provisions would be invoked. However, should the head honcho US serviceman, or anyone close to him, be indicted by said court, you can bet your pherknackerpan that said invasion would be on the tracks in double-quick time.
So, rest assured, my fascististic friend, Uncle Sam has everything in hand................and his foot in his mouth......as usual.

The EU are knwon to have WMD - no sh1t - who do you think sells half of them - the dear old USA :)
Of course it also BUYS some of the WMD FROM Europe too
China, Europe, USA - any of them are more than capable of blowing the crap out of each other. the correct course is to accept that the USA can obliterate anyone it wants - but not until enough buttons have been pressed to co-obliterate the USA.
Hells teeth, if the military can't stop a civilian airline ploughing into a building, what hope did you have of preventing an organised country from LONG ago "planting an insurance policy" somewhere vulnerable.
Even if there was no "sleeping bomb", to presume that the USA could effectively defend against attacks from multiple countries all at once is a bit silly. It is having its rear-end caned quite effectively at the moment by a few groups of rebels in a tinpot country like Iraq.
Just hope that the USA finally wants to live in peace one day - rather than just paying lip service to that idea.

Thank God that the people of Europe voted down becoming just one nation. About 6-8 months ago Bush signed a deal that could get the ball rolling on a North American Union! It was reported on Fox News Network. And guess what. We won't have a say so in it. It's an initiative to combine the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. What a hell of a mess that would be.

The only problem will be if the USA continues to dictate to the world and then picks on the EU. Your country is so insular that most of your population does not even know the rest of the world exists, let alone that it was Britain that held and defeated the German Reich with a little help from Russia. If I were you I would try to keep out of Europe as any invasion here could be very messy for you.

Don't worry about that. China and Russia have WMD and they ARE superpowers though the US is still somewhat arrogant to believe it is the only superpower. China's economy is BOOMING. China is a COMMUNIST country that plays Capitalist. Russia is a Capitalist country that plays Communist. China and Russia have been involved in regional war games and often oppose the US in the UN. Believe me all of this beating up on small countries and trying to assert power over oil producing regions does not go unnoticed by China or Russia. If we (the US) keep up with our antics then maybe we deserve what's coming. I hope not.

As a matter of fact, Americans are planning counter defenses now. Such as, how do we protect our soldiers from the numerous Belgian chocolates that will be pelted unmercifully on our unsuspecting soldiers . . . or how do we keep the French from plying our soldiers with wine and moldy cheese . . . or keep the British parliament from excessively taxing the green house emissions which will surely be released from such an attack . . . we'd worry about the German's but they are to busy testing dog sh#! samples for DNA.

i'd favor to entice close more advantageous about the context to respond to that. as an party, have they were given the means to fireside more advantageous of those missiles really, have they were given motivation to finish that, and what are the costs/advantages in human lives of attempting to degrade their protection rigidity means (or invade and occupy them)? in spite of if we had a "moral proper" it does no longer advise it really is the smart element to do. To take a mild version on your party, think 9/11 were executed with assistance from Iraqi protection rigidity workers operating below the orders of Saddam Hussein. Iraq has no further means to attack the U. S. or its pastimes, they in simple terms were given fortunate on a one-shot terrorism undertaking. Is it fairly worth dropping 3,000+ American lives, killing 1000's of risk free Iraqis, and spending 1000000000000 money in simple terms to "retaliate" and teach a aspect, if Iraq poses no further (extreme) risk? i'd say no. If North Korea had many more advantageous ballistic missiles, and we believed that they were going to apply them imminently, i'd really help protection rigidity strikes on those centers, yet even then an invasion and occupation ought to no longer be a strong concept, except it replaced into the in person-friendly words genuine thanks to prevent a launch and the casualty figures regarded ideal. seem, over 36,000 individuals lost their lives the most suitable time we went to conflict with North Korea, they'd more advantageous powerful present day a extreme sustained risk and we more advantageous powerful have exhausted all different ideas formerly we sacrifice probable more advantageous courageous youthful American adult adult males and females individuals from our protection rigidity.
