I dont think I would....It seems as though it would waste time in a big family...I am washing another load while the other clothes dry. If I was single or had no kids I might would buy one other than that you would almost need 2 and that kind of defeats the point.
Just because I or anyone else says no though does not mean it would not be succesful....Good Luck!
:)

I'd only buy one of those if I didn't have hardly any space available for my laundry set. Like, if I had to do laundry in a small bathroom.
The reason is, if one part breaks down, you lose the use of the whole thing, don't you?
With my separate pair, if the washer breaks, I can go to the laundromat to wash but still dry at home. If the dryer breaks, I can wash as usual, but hang things outside on a clothesline, or on hangers over my bathroom furnace vent.
Another disadvantage is that it would take twice as long to do the week's loads. Have to wait while one load both washed and dried before I could put a second load in. With the pair, I can put a second load in to wash just as soon as I got the first load into the dryer. I don't have the time to spend all day doing laundry.

This unit is already for sale on the market. It is designed for very small living spaces such as campers and motor homes. It is very convenient for those who need to do small loads of laundry on the road. It also works well for long haul truck drivers.
