So your saying we should always keep the war going in iraq so that they "dont come here"...thats quite illogical. There is no way to stop anyone from coming here and doing something if they wanted to and attacking iraq and destabilizing the middleast even more than it was before doesnt make us safer. The money were spending on iraq would have been better served on homeland security...not to mention we would still have 3000 live soldiers to help out here instead of being dead there.

No, it doesn't prove success of the war, there has been no success in this war, other than taking down Hussein and that was how long ago? All it proves is that Al Queda, as we were told after 9/11 ad nauseum, takes an average of five to six years to plan large scale attacks.
I have a hard time understanding people that don't think Al Queda can spare some "soldiers" to enter the U.S. under the same radar the illegal aliens manage to avoid. I just worry that we have become too complacent because we keep hearing the rhetoric about fighting them there instead of here. It's much more complicated than that, and terrorism experts around the globe do not agree with Bush's assessment of our decreased risk. Neither do I, I still think our poorly monitored ports and our porous borders make us a target for mayhem.

I think you must be American because I can't imagine a European asking that question. However, to answer you - The war was not about terror, it was about John Wayne and the green berets riding to the rescue of an oppressed people who were at the mercy of a merciless dictator who was stockpiling weapons of mass destruction which he would use to destabilise the freedom of freedom loving peoples. Of course we all know that weapons of mass destruction were not there but in N.Korea but hey, we all make mistakes and anyway there is no oil there so live and let live.
Just so we are clear my reply is laced with sarcasm I would not want for you to be confused about that!

It always amazes me when the left wingers start talking, it's always Bush's fault. If I am to understand this, if Bush didn't exist or at least hadn't been elected, and 9/11 had happened, which it would have anyway, President Kerry would have done nothing? I know, he wouldn't have invaded Iraq. What would he have done? How would he answer this attack? If war was not the answer (in Afghanistan for example) then what should he have done? Sent the Ambassador to the UN to beg Kofi Anan for help? Oh yeah, Kofi hates us because we showed what a scum bag his son is. So no help there. So we just sit and wait for Richard Reid to blow up a jet over the Atlantic. Wait for someone to destroy the Panama Canal. Wait for someone to destroy the Alaskan Pipeline. Wait for someone to park a manure bomb next to a nuclear power plant. Wait for someone to blow themselves up next to a school bus with your babies on board. Wait for someone to set off a Risin gas bomb while you are shopping for Christmas gifts at the mall. Yeah, we should have just waited.

No, it's mostly because the U.S. carried on so much after 9/11 that almost every nation on earth hopes it won't happen again so they won't have to go through yet another five year period where that's all American media ever talk about. Yes, it was bad but if I have to hear one more word. . .

What happened back home was just a kick start of "It's a final countdown" in exposing the misery of living human kind created with blunders and slip-ups with human errors in the creation of living human kind into mankind of intelligent design in planet of apes.
What we did'nt notice was the blunders and slip-ups with human errors on the creation of living human kind with artificial intelligence of artificial design being created into the Son of a dirty old man instead of creating our own children into the Son of God of intelligent design in planet of apes.
That's what the mystery of us-911 was all about expose by the missing x-files in planet of apes.

No!! What this proves is that the intelligence network are picking up the chatter by the terrorist and stopping the attacks before they even complete the plan. There have been many plots foiled by DHS and the FBI and the American people never heard of them because it is considered classified information.

No. Now that we are at war, the government doesn't yet need to terrorize its own citizens to convince us to support one. Iran?
