I would say I do with people who mean a lot to me. This person has been there for you and vice versa over the years, and all of a sudden they give up their fight. It makes me feel like I wasn't there for them in the right way.

I get disappointed, not disturbed. I give a lot and it gives me pleasure.
When it's not reciprocated I set my self up for disappointment.
I'll finally figure myself out when I'm too old to do anything about it! Is that enlightenment?

No, that's when I step up and give that little extra, because I know there are times when I have nothing left to give either.

But I like your questions!
To answer this one and set my emotions aside, no I don't get disturbed... I don't ask for much anyhow.
Sweet dreams!
