I am feeling a little out of touch. Can someone tell me some interesting news?

Ok so I had my cable shut off last year and sold my TV. I don't read newspapers because i am busy working all of the time. And I was out of the country for 6 weeks in January and February. I am beginning to feel a little out of touch with current events. Please tell me what you think is the most interesting piece of news from recent weeks. By the way, you can leave off the Anna Nicole Smith story I heard about that when I was overseas. Thank you.

Although Rome, Paris, and Chicago were destroyed, Tokyo unleashed Godzilla on the invaders and the Chinese launched a billion cheap missiles at the space ships.

None of them detonated but they forced a number of them to crash land.

Indian engineers then reverse-engineered the downed craft, and by February 8th had turned the plans over to the Chinese, who quickly manufactured a million of the craft and successfully fought off the invaders.

Also, Kansas made it to the Finals.
