It can be any number of things, there are an awful lot of organs in your abdomen. The gall bladder, kidneys, liver, stomach and intestines are all at about waist height.
I would get checked out by a Doctor. They're the experts and will be able to relieve your worries faster than we could (in fact some of the answers here could have you worrying much more).

it could definitely be the appendix, its in the middle of the right side abdomen. or your gall bladder. or a cyst. i had the same problem and thought it was all those things and it turned out to be a cyst on my ovary. a small one though. but the ovaries are a little lower, closer to the hip bone. get it checked

Get your butt to the doctor now. Any kind of pain in that area could be life threatening. It could mean an ovarian cyst about to burst (which could kill you) or your gallbladder.

could be a number of things..i am thinking probably your bowels need to move or your gallbladder..you need to get to a dr..at the same time it could be just gas or a air bubble but only a dr can tell ya for sure

Gaul bladder maybe. If it gets worse when you eat certain things and radiates around to your back and maybe up your back, it could be.

Might be your Gallbladder. I have Gallstones and it hurts there.
