Once the CD is on my computer its fine but even if I go on youtube or something the sound screws up on mine.

Yes, it's due to the read/write operations from the CD-ROM drive to the hard disk. This slows down the computer a great deal effecting the sound.

My CD's come out fine. I don't play it until it's downloaded, though.

I just swallow a couple of earplugs and that usually does the trick.

you may have a loose conection on your sound card.
