there should be numbers on the old coil.........if you are going to replace it with a stock one use these numbers.
if you are going to a hotter coil or a different style then you should go to the shop and talk to the mechanic to find out what coil you should go to for what you want to do. they have the Information right there to answer any questions you may have.
