I have a wireless network in my house, and I want to get a little bit more advanced than just using the internet from my laptop. Is there a way I can play music around my house from my computer? Could I hook it up to my TV? Could I start my coffee pot from my bed? If you have suggestions like that, could you please input, Thank You

For some of the simple things (turning on coffee pot), check out home automation. There are several ways to connect.

Television is going to be a bandwidth problem (at least). Check the article at http://www.pbs.org/opb/crashcourse/digital_v_analog/squeeze.html

Analog TV transmits quite a bit of information.
