well, she is the best singer this season [a not so good top 12 by the way]. but aren't you tired of those who wins the title but when they're albums are released; they don't really get the success? that's my prediction for her; she will just be another ruben studdard or taylor hicks! my bet for the girls is sabrina; its sad to say she didn't make it!

My favorite contestant is Melinda. I think she'll win... at least make the Top 2. She seems so humble and sweet and is by far one of the best singers this year. Lakisha and Jordin are really great too, although Lakisha didn't do as well last night.

You know, i'm getting tired of listening to people say the same thing over and over again "she can sing but she doesn't have the 'look'" This is a singing competition people, not a beauty contest! People here are chosen because of their vocal abilities and this girl is no exception, in fact she IS the best, BY FAR! Screw the guys, this year they all suck, and yes even though the girls are pretty good, Melinda can wipe the floor clean with the rest of them. Unfortunately i'm only one voice and weirder things have happened in the past when Chris, Constantine, for example were voted off, and Catherine lost to that LOSER Taylor, but w/e, i'll still vote for her and wish her the best... p.s. To those that think that the other will get better through out the competition, talent is talent, it doesn't just burst out one day when you most need it. If they haven't been able to put out their best or actually be able to sing, period, (cough, cough... Sanjaya) they will not get better. In a show like this they know they need to be their best from the beginning. So i'm sorry to disappoint you if you're expecting something better from one of the others, because you won't get anything past what they've already given. The songs might change from show to show, with some being better than others, but the talent and ability to sing is the same from day one to the final show.

Don't count anyone out just yet. Just because Lakesha and Melinda started out strong, doesn't mean the others won't get better themselves throughout the competition. You have to remember, many of the winners have been quite attractive and marketable. I think Taylor's album failing may make the try to choose someone with a marketable genre. Blake is very creative and Chris Sligh. Hayley is coming into her own, and Gina has a memorable image. It's still anyone's game. Remember last year, I though Chris Daughtry was going to win....year before Constantine, etc... It keeps us all guessing.

No, there is one better, Lakisha or however her name is spelled. I don't want her to win because she could get futher if she doesn't win. There seems to be a curse on whoever wins, they can't seem to have success past the first cd. Kelly Clarkson is the only winner to escape the curse. Melinda is one of the best 3 singers this year through and i would buy her cd. She is very talented and i don't think she would really change once she had success, i don't think the success would go to her head. Unlike other idols.

I think Melinda Doolittle and Blake Lewis will be totally be battling it out at the end. If Blake wins i will HAVE to buy his cd if Melinda wins i will most likely but her cd.

I do not think she will win. She is one that can sing very well, but her appearance makes people like her less. Everytime we debate AI at work, people always complain about her not having a neck.
