Are chromosomes visible in cells that you would identify as late telophase?
If not, then what happened to them?
Please provide the link/resource, thanks!

In late telophase, the chromosomes have changed back into chromatin by unwinding and uncoiling.

Telophase "undoes" what prophase did. Prophase gets ready to split the nuclear material and telophase puts everything back the way it was.

During telophase:
1. the spindle disintegrates
2. the chromosomes unwind and turn back into chromatin
3. the nuclear envelope and the nucleoli reappear
