The 50's Prime Time Cafe at MGM
The Whispering Cafe at The Wilderness Lodge.
Those are all really good, but I liked Whispering Cafe the best. It's a great family restaurant.

The best food can be found at the Disney Resorts - not so much in the parks (with the exception of EPCOT, which has wonderful food at the different countries). But here are my top in and out of park recommendations from the Disney dining plan!
Animal Kingdom:
inside the park: Pizzafari, Tusker House
Outside: Boma-Flavors of Africa at the Animal Kingdom Lodge. This is my favorite restaurant and is a must at WDW!
Magic Kingdom:
inside: Casey's - great hot dogs! And Liberty Tree Tavern with Minnie and friends!
Outside: Ohana's at the Polynesian, Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at the Polynesian, 1900 Park Fare at the Floridian, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary
Disney Studios:
Inside: 50s Prime Time Cafe, Mama Melrose's, Sci-Fi Drive in theater, Hollywood and Vine for their character meal
Outside: ESPN Zone at the Boardwalk, Cape May buffet at the Beach Club
EPCOT:
Inside: Coral Reef (pricey but amazing), any of the restaurants at the World Showcase, Harvest lunch with chip n' dale at the Garden Grill
Outside: Cape May - Beach Club, as mentioned above (note: MGM and EPCOT are neighboring parks)
Enjoy your vacation!

Magic Kingdom: Cinderella's Royal Table is supposed tobe the best in the park. I personally haven't eaten there before but, I have heard from many, many people that it's really nice. Epcot: La Cellier Steakhouse: My family and I ate there a few years ago, it's on the expensive side but defintly worth it. You really needto make reservations far in advance for this place though, it's a very popular one. Hollywood Studios: 50's Prime Time Cafe: It's a really cool family like setting. Your waiter/waitress tells you to keep your elbow's off the table, and tests you on what color the soap in the bathroom is to make sure you washed your hands. It's a fun enviroment with food like, pot roast, fried chicken, mom's homecooked type meals. Animal Kingdom: I forget the name of the place but it's a chinese restarunt and it's really good. ALSO... my fav. is at the WIlderness Lodge Resort, you can take a bus or boat there from the Magic Kingdom, or a bus from anywhere else. It's called the Whispering Canon it's a bbq type restarunt with an all you can eat menu option. :)

out of the resorts, Ohana in the polynesian is by far my favorite place so far. for dinner, it is luau style family style. dinner menu include: salade with honey lime dressing, shrimp, wings, chips with 3 dips, grilled veggies, scallop potatoes (my favorite), steak, pork chop, sausage, and turkey. the dessert is banana bread pudding with vanilla bean ice cream and syrup on top. there's a lady there that gets all the kids to do an hawaiian dance. then they march around the restaurant in the parade. their breakfast is very similar. it's character breakfast with lilo, stitch, mickey, and pluto. the food is delicious. fresh fruit plate, pastries, scrambled eggs, mickey waffles, sausages, and bacon.
animal kingdom doesn't have sit down restaurants except for Donald's breakfastosaurus. most of them are quick service, so burgers, hot dogs, and stuff like that.
at MGM, i would suggest either Sci-Fi or 50's Prime Time. i've been to both, but i go to Sci-Fi more because the atmosphere of the restaurant is really cool. the tables are set up like cars, and when u walk in, it's a giant indoor drive-in movie. they serve burgers and pasta, and they have to most amazing onion rings. my favorite dish is their shrimp penne pasta. 50's Prime Time also has a unique setting. it is decorated like a 50's kitchen. some of the tables are countertops with a TV showing black and white shows. the food there is also very good. the chicken their is the best dish.

At MGM I would highly recommend 50s PrimeTime. At Downtown Disey, Planet Hollywood or Rainforest Cafe are fun for little ones. At Animal Kingdom, Flame Tree Barbecue is a very tasty option. You can see all the menus at www.allearsnet.com

Don't know if it is on the dining plan, but my kids loved the dinner with Mickey and friends I think it was called Chef Mickey's. It was a big, big hit. All of the characters came to your table throughout dinner for photos and hugs with the kids.
