I would like to let them be in the yard together, but my Aussie pup is very playful and the Bloodhound is very laid back. The Aussie will just hang on the Bloodhound's ears and tail.

They make a spray called "Bitter Apple" and it works wonders for getting dogs to stop chewing on ANYTHING. Including themselves. It's 100% harmless and can be sprayed on animals(avoiding their eyes of course), furniture, and whatever else your Aussie has an appetite for. I picked up a good size bottle of the stuff for about 6 dollars and most pet stores carry it. Good luck. :o)

Buy Bitter Apple from the pet store and spray your Bloodhound's ears & tail with it. The Aussie won't/shouldn't like the taste.

u could try like vinegar or something, but water it down so it doesnt burn the bloodhounds nose...unless your aussie has a wierd sense of smell she wont bite the vinager...

if that doesnt work, talk to your vet, or a somebody at the pet store, maybe they can help you...

best of luck...
