Actually, He has won the world heavyweight 17 times. He and Harley Race exchanged the title once in Asia without the permission of the NWA. The NWA officially does not recognise this title exchange.due to it happening without their foreknowledge.
I love Ric Flair and always will. Vince should use him in a non wrestling position though. A trainer, or an on camera mentor for an up and coming talent. Ric owes Vince a lot of money, he is pretty much unable to walk out of his contract, and Vince likes to humiliate anyone whom he did not create.

Ric aptitude purely has some weeks left. i became instructed he will retire at WrestleMania. Why placed a identify on him for purely some weeks? I heavily doubt Ric's physique can cope with the demands of being a champion. all the punishment it is going to could take.

No I do not believe he will ever be World Champ in the WWE again. I could see him being TNA or even NWA Atlantic champ again though if he chose to go that route.

not likley.. latley the wwe has only been lookin at the younger guys... and latley i havent even see ric do anything that would get him a shot... the wwe only focusing to those with carisma and who they cancontrol like a puppet
