You should still have all your data on the hard disk. Just plug it in to another computer and get your data. (its the big heavy metal box inside)

It sounds like there was either a power surge that could have corrupted the hard drive data or you have a bad power box that sent too much power to the mother board and fried it. Try connecting the hard drive to another computer if the files are still there it is a bad power box and you need a new mother board and power box. if it does not show up on another computer you might need to run a PC recovery on it that will erase all the data on the hard drive.

If your Desktop says no cable connected then its probably your Video connection. Check the cable make sure its connected correctly. If its only the Video that you have lost then its probably not your Motherboard, unless you have integrated Graphics which sends the signal to the Monitor. If you have a Video card, and still no signal after you have checked the cable try reseating the video card in the Mobo. Your information should be fine its all on the Hard drive, if worse comes to worst then take out the Hard Drive and get your info off of it from another computer.

Your data will still be there since there is no damage to your hard drive. If u replace your motherboard you will be able to use the same hard drive.
Another cause of this problem could be loose wires inside your computer. Try pushing them in a bit.
If this a problem involving electricity, your fius will get burnt firs not your motherboard.

Easiest thing to do is probably buy another computer. Have a computer guy pull your hard drive out of the dead one and install it as a secondary hard drive on your computer. Its a pretty simple process. Your files should be fine.

there is this thing called 3.5'' hard drive case, you can get it for a cheap price. carefully take your hard drive out from your computer's case and put it inside the hard drive case, which should have one usb cable to transfer data, and another one for electricity. connect the two cables to another working computer and you should be able to access the files inside your hard drive

What i'd do is bypass into secure mode, in the course of the boot up exhibit, save tapping F8 and that menu exhibit will pop up, bypass to secure mode, Press enter, and note if homestead windows receives into secure mode, if it receives in there, then test the computer with the disk mistakes examine use disk cleanup, and defrag basically in case.

Hi. If you have a good and trusted friend, you could hook up your drive to her computer and copy the files. Her drive will be set to MA on the back, so you will have to move the jumper to SL on yours. Good luck!
