I took A&P as well and had to disect a pig, but it was a jr college. Some colleges do not have the money to buy cadavers as they are expensive and very limited so I think that it depends on teh college. Also, I think that cadavers are mainly reserve for med students such as students who wants to become doctors.

Depends on the college. Some have cadaver labs some do not. You'd have to look into your science departments' curriculum.
