Ok, I did a project alone. But right now my friends computer is acting dumb. So she wants me to put her name on it also. Because u can have a partner. Should I put her name on it, even if she didn't do anything? The project is 15 PERCENT of our grade.

Is her computer acting 'dumb'? Or...didn't she get around to doing her work?

In either case, I'm sure you would have let her use yours if she would have asked. Maybe there is even a computer lab at school or at the library she could have used.

If she wanted to do the assignment, she would have.

NO !!! You shouldn't put her name on it. If she didn't do a/the project & wants her name on there so that she doesn't have to do any of the work then she just wants an easy out. Tell her that NO you won't put her name on there. I did some highlighting for my lil sis one time (her hw) & I regretted it in the end. I felt bad that she might get in to trouble. She pretty much gave me her hw b/f she went to bed (it was bedtime) & so I did her hw. Even tho this was yrs ago I regret it. Never do someone else's homework. Even if they say they'll owe you or if you owe them... At first I thought you were saying something bout you doing the hw on her comp but now I understand. She should have had a disk to save her work on to... Or she could have started working on it sooner & still be able to get all of her work done. I hope she didn't do all of the work on her comp... It's not alwayz a good idea to start typing stuff out when you're working on a project or ANYTHING if you don't have a rough copy. Isn't there still time for her to retype it ? She should do type it out @ skewl .

I probably would.

I'd probably expect a lot of gratitude.

It really is not her fault she had the pc problem.

Go over the project with her, then she will learn from it.

dont it isnt fair to u, if she doesnt have enough time to do her own, give her the credit and work with her on the next big project and make her do it all and make sure she does a good job on it

no way. you take the credit for your work. no matter what your friend says, dont do it. she is probably the lazy type of kid who wants credit for other peoples work. too bad. hope you grab yourself an A.

well ... i'd actually do it ... cuz it's not their fault they didn't do the project ... their computer suddenly shuts off , so they can't do it . but if you feel uneasy about it you don't need to do it ... unless it's your best friend ... it just depends on how you feel about it ..
