I would think over 6 months- I have a 4 1/2 month old, and he is growing like a weed! I think he gains about half a pound every two weeks- and his feet are still huge compared to his body.

I'm not sure what Marshall Farms Ferrets have to do with this question? You may need to offer more details.

The age is hard to say as they all mature differently. The weight of your ferret is a better indicator. Your female is full grown when she is 1 to 2 pounds. Your male is full grown between 2 to 4 pounds. As an experienced owner it is safe to say that at about 8 months of age is usually what you can expect for size, although, some people have told me they think 1 year old. ?? So...basically is is a waiting game. :)

In relation to Marshall Farms....their ferrets tend to be underweight and "dwarfed" almost because of their horrible breeding and neutering practices. If you research Marshall Farms you can find out the full details. I do not have the patience to list all of their crappy breeding and neutering practices! LOL

Good luck and take care of those fuzzers!

Ferrets reach full size at about 6 months and will live for many years. If you have a Marshall Ferret, you have a good one (check the ears for two small blue dots in one ear, that is the Marshall ID code).

6 months is full grown, although they don't lose much energy as they age. I have 5 ferrets, between the ages of 3 and 6 years.

I think mine were both fullgrown around a year. Although that was 6 years ago so I'm not positive.
