Great considering the defense was asleep(as they have been often lately for the Sabres) The Florida Panthers always give Buffalo a hard time no matter if it's home/away. The fact that the offense got going and produced was a major factor also. In the last three home games the Sabres only produced somewhere in the area of 5 goals. They needed this win badly as NJ was only a point or two behind. Conks is a good, not great backup, and will see limited time down the streach, as Lindy Ruff always plays his goalies into the ground. He also wants badly for the Sabres to win their first ever Presidents cup in the modern era, and they still have a shot as, they have a game or two in hand over Anaheim, Detroit and Nashville. This will go down to the last day of the season, which for Buffalo is against the Philadelphia Flyers and former back up Marty Biron. It should be good.

i think he did amazing. those goals he let in were not entirely his fault cause none of the team was there to help him. buffalo had no defense at all yesterday. its kinda making me sad cause if we want to do well in the playoffs, we need to get our act together. go sabres!

the sabres gave up too many shots but he did good once he settled down...im watching the post game show and can i say how much of an idiot rob ray is...for the great offensive star he was,as i roll my eyes,he's become very critical and bashing...couple years removed as a player and he acts like he knows it all
