Im interviewing to be a receptionist.

It depends. If the surgeon deals primarily with cosmetic surgery then you should look professional but also a bit edgy and modern because you will be dealing with very image-conscious clients. If it is for a plastic surgeon who mostly works on burns victims or people with medical conditions you should definitely go for a more conservative (suit) look.

A good rule of thumb when you are interviewing for any position is to dress as you would be expected to for a normal day at work - so you probably already know what to wear! Think back to any experience you've had going into a similar setting (how do receptionists dress at doctors' and professionals' offices you've been to in the past?) As long as you look professional and well put together you'll do fine :)

When you go you should wear a nice pant suit or a skirt with a jacket. Look professional and not casual

Also, you need to learn how to use spell check. No physician is going to keep you around long if you don't know that it's spelled "surgeon".
