You are obviously dealing with well water, all the answers I've read are correct however installing a mixer on your toilet would be out of the question as there is no hot water nearby, unless you want to mix the entire house, or the entire bathroom. Most home stores located near areas that use well water would have tank insulating kits available, if not just drain the tank and with "styrofoam friendly glue" adhere a 1/2" sheet of Styrofoam to the sides and bottom of the tank, I'm sure you"ll find this works.

Most times, this is due to the size of the drop valve where the pipe comes out of the wall. Some waterclosets are connected with 3/8" diameter valves. Should be a 1/2" valve and connecting drop to the tank. If it occurs only in the winter, it could be lack of insulation of the pipes beneath the house.

ive heard they sell a insulation fit for the tanks. reducing moisture in the bathroom always gets a laugh. they also sell a mixer valve where it mixes hot/cold water to fix it.

hook up a mixing valve running hot water with the cold. It will stop immediately. We had the same problem. Good luck

This was a sign of too much moisture in the air. If you don't have exhaust fan in your washroom have one installed. But if you have one already, run it 30 minutes to an hour every after shower. Good luck.

Quit working it so hard! I'm sorry I had to write that. They use to sell liners for that problem. Try Lowe's,Menard's,Sutherland's,or similar places.
