i just had my interview today with a firm. they didnt seem like they wanted to know much about me. they asked me a few general questions and asked if i had any questions for them. So I kept going on and on with my questions for them. I think i had like 6 or 7. It felt like i was interviewing them..so weird
is it because they thought i didnt qualify for the job so they didnt wanna know more about me?

They let you ask questions because they wanted to find out how interested you are in the position. If you're not very interested, you wouldn't ask questions.

I presume you handed a resume to cover your qualifications so that may be enough at this time. It means allot to many employers that their employee (or possible employees) show interest in their company and the fact that you had that many questions to ask, is great, as longs as they weren't just about benefits and salary. If you're happy with the company, hopefully you get hired, but if not, just consider it an experience and find that right job.

They may be analysing your attitude in various ways including analytical skills, leadership quality, confidence etc. Perhaps it is a requirement for the position you applied.

not sure if you should ask that many questions, but the idea is to see how interested you are in the company and what your intent is.

Like if the only question you ask is about your salary, then that's not good.
