agree. reason: people on campus have no adults looking after them so they drink and drink until they pass out. They could go into comas, vomit, feel light headed and might even die. when things like this happen, families get torn apart/go crazy type thing. Campus is a place to learn, not to get drunk. It is the responsibilities of the teachers to ban drinking on campus so students will not get addicted and stay focused on school instead of drugs, alcohol, fighting, partying ect.

Did nobody learn that prohibition doesn't work. Schools have no right to ban alcohol. It is the students duty to learn to drink responsibly. If a student is going to continuously drink him/erself into a stupour, then the world will not lose anything if s/he drinks him/erself to death. Parents have to learn to accept death. It's coming to them and until about 40 years ago it regularly arrived to their children first.

Disagree. Our country is based on free choice. When a person turns 18, he or she is considered an adult and able to make decisions and understand consequences. Those who are old enough to drink are old enough to drink. However, if a college wants to be more diligent about existing laws (i.e. drinking and driving, serving alcohol to minors, etc) so be it.

In many college dorms, they have specific floors dedicated to certain things, one of those is a non smoking, non-drinking floor. If not drinking is that big of a deal to you, request to be placed on one of these floors. Don't ruin it for everyone.

At my brothers College they do no person is allowed to drink even if there the right age.

disagree. I love to drink! I think that is one of the biggest reasons teens go away to school, so they can be free and get drunk!
