i'm upset Duke lost tonite. They are my favorite team. They just don't have a go-to guy like they've had in previous championship years. Paulus is good, but he needs some more help. Someone like JJ who can hit the 3s regularly. And, Duke needs a couple more big men. I think next year's team will be better. coach k will scour the country for the best talent available. its the youngest Duke team in over 60 years, i heard on tv tonite. i do think Duke got a lot of bad calls tonite. vcu was fouling paulus left and right and hardly ever got called on it.

Duke has had an off year this year. Surprisingly the last time they were eliminated in the first round was in 1996.

Duke doesn't usually lose in the first round, in fact it's been 11 years since their last first round loss in the regional (1996), though they did lose in their conference playoffs.

As predicted: duke will be overranked, mcroberts will cry, coach k will have multiple commercials, and the duke fans will complain about the refs.
Once duke got away from the ACC refs, the calls got more fair.
Deal with it dukie..they sucked this year..you had to see it coming...oh..by the way...dont forget to catch the UNC game at 9:50 ET tonight.

Because the are overated every year just like their nerd coach who only wins games because he has 10 highschool all americans on his roster every year. Also. . .once they don't have the blatant protection of the ACC referees they are exposed for the pole smokers they are. BITE IT DUKE!

Both teams played real good tonight, however VCU played amazing. Duke didn't lose VCU won.

There just not doing that good this season. Its because they lost a lot of their good players.
