Who can be given credit for inventing or starting club music?

This question is kind of for people on the east coast unless you know what I'm talking about. When I say "club music" I am not referring to the kind of music they play on ktu 103.5 or techno-like music lol. I'm talking about "The Perculator"," Watch Out For The Big Girls","Hot Damn Ho Here We Go Again" songs like that. Again, if you aren't from NJ, MD, or NY you probably won't know what I'm talking about lol.

I am over 18 and don't see what that has to do with it...Anyway, like I said if you don't know the titles of the songs I mentioned or you're not from the east coast, then you probably won't know what I am talking about. If you do then ok but again, I am not talking about disco style music that my mom danced to.

Playing some niche club music and inventing it are 2 totally different things,
But only people over 18 might know that much . . .
Club music was around before your parents even thought about having you.
