I HATE CLOWNS! They scare the crap out of me, and every time I see one, I can't look at them! What scares me the most is IT! I hate that clown and even though it's fake, i still get nervous in the shower!

I am afraid of clowns too. I'm also afraid of those creepy looking puppets and marionettes. I think it has something to do with being afraid that something that represents childhood, innocence, and fun turning evil. Wow, we all have some issues...but I've been trying to get over this phobia. I've been using a cognitive approach to overcoming my fears. I point out how ridiculous it is to be afraid of something that most people find amusing. It takes a bit but after a while I felt better around things like clowns and puppets and things like that.

While I am not scared of clowns I have never liked them. I have never seen the "funny" in clowns either. As a child I was NEVER attracted to clown acts either. I find the whole clown culture creepy.
Then there's those people that collect clown portraits and figurines their suspect too. I guess I'm missing the clown appreciation gene.

A lot of ppl hate clowns. I don't particularly care for them myself... something about not being able to see the person behind all the makeup and the costume is really freaky. I saw this movie, Clownhouse, when I was a kid and since then I don't even like going to the circus.

I am....i hate clowns!!! (incidently the movie IT, did nothing for me...but ronald mcdonald scares the crap out of me....way to go, stephen king)
Im telling you....there's something evil lurking behind those creepy painted smiles ....
why do they hide their identity?.....BECAUSE THEY'RE EVIL! that's why. I'm pretty sure they eat children, too.
