he's obviously the worst at singing, yet he is getting so many votes. usually that happens when the person is attractive. but what i don't get is HE'S JUST A KID! are girls today really attracted to that little boy look?

He's getting the pity votes right now...I think the "we feel sorry for him" drama is old...his time is up...I can't believe he made the top 12...let alone beat out Brandon

Howard Stern (the radio host not the Anna Nicole boyfriend) supposedly launched a campaign to have his listeners vote for the worst singer to sabotage the show.
Can't believe that many people listen to Howard Stern's show though.
Sanjaya reminds me of Peter Brady when the Brady Bunch kids had a band - when it's time to change la la la !!

Sanjaya is just on AMERICAN IDOL because of girls who will sit on their NEW cell phone and vote for him for 2 STRAIT HOURS. i mean look how he was booooooed when Sundance went home instead of him, and the same thing with Brandon

I guess that's the new thing now. Look at Justin. I prefer masculine men. I guess he'll be around a little while. The young girls are going to vote for him. If they knew they had no chance with him, it may change their mind!

Well people love adorable people and little boys are adorable. It was just like last season withe the adorable kid that reminded us of chicken little. But it isn't just girls. Females of all ages. He is just lucky only for that reason.

well its true he cant sing very well but its because of his cuteness factor i guess dats why girls fall for him. same problem during Singapore Idol. one of de contestants Joakim Gomez has de worst voice ever and he can get through the top 12 and ended up kickin out one of de best singers! i really hated him!

The guy cannot sing AT ALL...I read that people are voting for him just cuz he sucks though. They think its pretty funny. I think its ridiculous. HIS HAIR IS NOT COOL AND HE IS NOT HOT. my god...there are people that deserve to be there that are getting kicked off : (
