Would someone tell me whats the difference between Best Friends and a Boyfriend or girlfriend?

In my case, none at all. I fell in love with, and eventually married, my best friend.

hmmmmm. best friends are your best buddies, the people you do crazy things with beyond control, the person you have same interest with...the person you grew up and play with as well. Best friend is there to lift you up when your drunk... or maybe join you when you're not. a boyfriend is a person you want to spend the rest of your life with ,, to have family with (MAYBE) and of cors to have sex too.... not unless your having bestfriends and getting that benefit as well.
Best friends cand be boy friends too.... relationship will grow so much better and last longer if these things happen. Coz you know the person ... the real person without any pretentions.... no mask...

there really doesn't have to be a difference. if you are intimate then you are probably a bf or gf - but, why can't that same person be the best friend as well???? - its not really rocket science. The person you like, trust, feel comfortable around the most, is most reliable, is your best friend (doesn't mean you can't get freaky with them)

iguess with girlfriends and boyfriends you have to make a decision which you like the most.in my opinion you can like them all equally.really a difficult question.don't chose ,allof them are your best friend

sometimes bestfriend can mean a sex buddy or a regular best friend. boyfriend can mean luva or guy friend. same wit girlfriend

some best friends don't share the same kind of intimacy that bf/gf do!
