I have had a problem with Mcafee and I had to delete the files in Program Files folder in Safe Mode to remove it. Reboot in Safe Mode, and delete every thing with Mcafee in the name. Then, reboot, and run something like CCleaner to remove the Registry entries. If that fail then make a System Restore checkpoint, and run regedit, (start>run type regedit) and remove all registry entries with Mcafee.

click start then search or find.. then all files and folders type in McAfee and let it run..then right click on each file found and delete. some might say it can't be found to delete don't worry about those they were deleted when you tried to uninstall. delete all files then empty the recycle bin and restart your unit.. Hope this helps..
