How come that each of them like Yuki and Kyo are a different year of the zodiac, but there the same age. Wouldnt they be all the same one...they are the same boat right??????

Hahaha..that's what one of the reader's asked. I think that in one of the manga volumes, she explains this. I think that she said that it doesn't matter what year you were born in, you're just given the spirit?

I think the reason for that is (I believe the only ones the same age are Yuki and Kyo) is because that Kyo is year of the cat and if you remember how the zodiac was explained on how the animals came to place on the zodiac, the cat missed the meeting and was never assigned a date, which is why cat can be born on any year.

and as it was mentioned , in the family it's also spiritual as well that they get placed, so it just so happened that the spirit of the cat was the same year of the rat (which is supposed to be irony as the rat and the cat in the story were supposed to work together but the rat tricked the cat) and is why the story is like that for those two.

It doesn't matter maybe its what month they were born I don't know?
