That occurred this morning, upon checking it, it had grown considerably so I took her to the Dr. Dr. prescribed an antiobiodic and suggest motrin. Dr. also drew a circle around the affected area/red mark and told me that if it grew any larger to bring her back in tomorrow. It has been 5 hours since she got her first dose of the antiobiodic and motrin and the spot has expanded outside of the circle the Dr. drew around the area earier this afternoon by about a half inch. Has anyone else ever heard of a child having such a reaction with no other side effects with this vaccine?

I haven't but since the spot has gotton bigger where the Dr circled it I would suggest a call to your Dr or the Er room.and explain it to them again.Since it has gotton bigger I my self would be a bit concered.Keep an eye on the spot and try some ice to take down the swelling.I would say have her also sleep close to you or get up every few hrs and check on her.and make sure when you check on her that she does not have a fever.Good Luck
