i cant seem to stay focused when im trying to do my assigments please help !!!

First, be organize. Gather all your materials that are needed and put them on your desk. dictionaryss, and other reference books are good to have nearby. Now, you don't have to run everywhere try to find wat u need. next, make sure there are no distractions. Close your door or watever. Next you have to plan out your time. decide wat u want to do first and estimate how long it'll ake for u to finish it so you have time to do other assignments and reward yourself later. you can also listen to music while doing your homework( it helps me). Saaaay, is it raining outside? Did I shut the windows upstairs. I wonder what's on TV tonight. I hope it isn't reruns. I'm hungry!! I wonder what there is to eat in the fridge. What are the other questions about? I think I'll take a look and come back to this later. Or maybe not.

Go to a quiet place in your house free of things that you can play with or that will easily distract you such as a room with a television or radio. Taking deep breaths can help you as well by calming your nerves.

Go somewhere else to do your homework. For example, when I know I need to focus on my work I'll physically remove myself from my dorm room and go somewhere else (usually the library). I think this helps because when I'm in my room I'm surrounded by distractions but by moving somewhere else my mind knows that its time to concentrate.

You just need to calm down, and focus on the task at hand. Block out any noise, and anything else that might distract you.
