i have been on birth control for a little over a week and i have been getting really bad stomach pains alot and i always feel sick when its night time. I also have been getting really bad mood swings and im always so pissed off at nothing and its really making me angry, has anyone ever felt this way in the begining? does it get better ? or worse? or should i go see my doctor? thanks for any suggestions or storyies

These side effects are common among women taking birth control pills. It is caused by the increased amount of estrogen in the pill. You may want to go to your doctor and ask for a smaller dosage or a different kind of pill which does not contain as much estrogen.
