Some charge by the hour, some charge a flat rate based on the complexity of the will and the extent of the estate.

But it shouldn't be more than $1000 (Canadian) unless the person is extremely wealthy, or the will is excessively complex. It will often be much less.

probably different prices depending on how in depth the will is..i would call a few estate lawyers and get an estimate
