dont really know what your question was asking but if i had to pick the 2000 Lakers or the current Mavs I would take the Lakers. The Mavs are great but we are talking about Shaq in his prime when he easily dropped 30 and 10 boards. It would be an interesting series but i think the Lakers would take it in 7

Mavs always have a great season record, but they never do anything in the playoffs. If they could lose to the Heat in finals last year, they wouldn't even win a game against 2000 Lakers.

The current Mavs have a more balanced attack on offense and defense than the 2000 Lakers did so I agree with you that the Mavs could beat them.

Shaq and Kobe might have destroyed the Celtics, we lost final year using fact we've been comfortable interior, on the rebounds and protection, if a main Shaq became interior the middle mixed with a youthful extra athletic Kobe, i admire the Lakers opportunities. Shaq possibly will win Finals MVP.

Not even close! Lakers in six. You cannot compare the current team to the 2000 Lakers, the older team is better in every position.

Lakers, with the dynamic duo in full gear, none can defeat them in the playoff.
