just means she wants a different color the next time, doesn't mean a thing, u shouldn't take it as if she slighted u, yes u should keep buying her roses.

She may have been a tad rude to say to get a different color next time. However, truth to tell, most women would not pick red roses when picking out roses. It might mean love or something but they show up at funerals too often. We like white or yellow or pink or hot pink or peach or lavender.
Why not send her some more, as she does not get them often as you said and pick a different color? She will know you used your imagination and you will be in for a treat the next time you see her! Guaranteed!

My opinion is that she is just being brutally honest with you. If you have only ever bought her red roses, she likely wants a change in color. I would not take it personally. But variety is the spice of life. Give her one more chance and next time buy a different color. If you get the same response, then I wouldn't ever buy her flowers again. Good luck.

Yes you should buy her floweres again. Maybe her child hood sweetie broke her heart with roses and that's what she connects to them.
Think back, what were your wedding flowers. Send her an arragement that looks like her wedding bouquet--take a picture to the florist.
Ask the florist about flower meanings, red IS true love, yellow is jealousy, white is purity. My favorite is lavender roses, very fragrant, but they don't last long.
How about a bouquet of different color roses and ask her which she thinks is best.
Please don't take it to hard, she might have been having a bad day, long distance are the pits.
If you can afford it, a bouquet of roses, with an Mp3 Player with about 30 love songs is sooooo cool!

Explain 2 your wife your feelings on her response. She may meant well but what she might been trying 2 say is thank u dear 4 the roses but my favorite color rose is ****. Ask her what color she prefer and why? women think different from men she is not aware she offended u (trust me) Don't take it personal. When n doubt buy several color roses.

She should have been greatful and appreciative that you even bought her flowers. I wouldn't send her flowers again. She can't even keep that rude comment to herself and look at the nice gesture that you did for her? How selfish. I don't care if they are black! It's the thought that counts! What the hell is wrong with women these days?!?! I wouldn't want to be with a selfish, inconsiderate person like that. Don't send her flowers again. Why would you? Why should you?

Most probably, she has been upset by something you know nothing about. She's probably been dwelling on it for weeks and has decided you don't love her. Her way of telling you is to indicate that red roses perhaps were not an appropiate choice. At least that's how my wife thinks.

Don't buy her anymore flowers if she's that ungrateful!! Sorry, but I'm a woman and always adore it when my husband sends me flowers or brings them home! It's the thought and the work put into it that matters. Even if it were a bouquet of weeds he pulled up out of the yard I'd be grateful that he tried.

Firstly, that was very sweet of you and I think you have done everything right. Maybe she had a conversation with you about her fav colour roses and you wernt paying attention
: my bf never listens to me and although he can be very sweet and do nice things, I would really appreciate being listened to.....
In any case you should ask her!
Good luck sweetie:o)

I'm a guy, and I must tell you I would be disappointed in that response.
But hearing everything you said, it sounds like she was indeed happy and touched, and grateful.
Sometimes people just have their own pressures, etc. and don't say the right thing.
