Elizabeth Smith Miller, abolitionist and dress reformer. She was the one who actually invented the so-called "Bloomer" outfit for women a hundred and fifty years ago. Or Lucretia Mott, who together with Elizabeth Cady Stanton worked tirelessly for women's suffrage - i.e. the right for women to vote, which they couldn't do in most of the United States until 1920. Both of these ladies also were abolitionists. They were amongst the most important women in American history.
