Most peopl haven't heard them because the radio doesn't play them. Granted there are a few good young talents. The Fray, Corinne Bailey Ray, Natasha Bedingfield are some of the few good talents that have broken through but a majority haven't so your probably in the wrong place to ask that question.

People who play technical death metal or deathgrind. They are some of the fastest drummers and guitarists on the face of the earth.
As far as vocal talent, I really like Andrea Bocelli; he owns.

Without question, Prince. The man can play every instrument, writes amazing songs for both himself and others, can do nearly any genre of music, is both a guitar and keyboard god, and is 500 times better live than on his cd's.
