This should be a manhunt. They need to find this guy. Hell they brought in the FBI. Yet still no mention on any major news station. I don't get why.... Anyone??

That's awful, and indeed, the FBI should be looking for him. From what you said, it sounds like they are, which is good, because he should be captured and brought to justice.

What I don't get is...why should the media have anything to do with it? It's not their responsibility to enforce justice. And this story has very little news value...we don't know the guy or his kid, we're unlikely to see him around, and he's probably not going to do us any harm. To print the story would only be sensationalistic and exploitative.

Frankly, I wish the media would do far LESS coverage of stories like this and more of stories with actual value about our politics, communities, and culture.

OMG!! Where was it that happened?? You are right, I heard nothing about it and should have right away if they did not find the guy. He is a danger to society
