How SICK is it of some people to cop out of PLANNED MURDER by saying they aren't human beings?

They would be, if you -hadn't killed them-.

It's planned murder on a vast scale for lustful fornicating. It's sick and it needs to be stopped. Another reason this country is DEGRADING culturally and morally.

Yes, if the woman is impregnated by sperm then it has a right to live. It is the woman's fault and the man's fault for having this will be child and now it is in the process of becoming a child, therefore it should not be murdered.

Sperm by itself left by itself cannot become a child therefore it cannot be murdered, understand now or are you too slow?

yes, you killed a chicken by eating / breaking the egg.

We humans use other animals and their devices to eat and survive. It is therefore just.

Under rape, medical circumstances or etc. only should abortion be allowed.

You misunderstood my point

Let's tone down the rhetoric for a moment and actually look at the argument you are making.

You are saying that fetuses should be treated as human beings at all times, because they are going to become human beings. Isn't that the same as treating anyone in 1st grade as if they were high-school graduates, because they are eventually going to graduate high school? That's a huge assumption.

But let's give you that assumption. Let's assume that every embryo will eventually be born alive, and that there are no miscarriages, and no still births, and nothing ever goes wrong. Let's assume that embryos are full people from the moment of conception.

The issue then becomes -- can the mother be compelled to donate nutrients and provide life support for another person against her will? Because the issue is whether the mother can be compelled to remain pregnant if she doesn't want to be.

By that analogy, the government should be allowed to compel you to donate blood to someone else. If the live of the other person is more important than your consent to be a donor, you should have no problem with mandatory blood donation. Or mandatory bone marrow donation. Or mandatory organ harvesting.

At what point can the government force one person to serve the needs of another person, against their will?

And that's giving you all of your assumptions. Not everyone agrees that life begins at conception. Certainly not the medical industry as a whole. So, if your argument depends on that religious definition of life, you automatically lose as a matter of law.

But if your argument is based on the concept that the government has the right to force one person to donate of their body against their will -- where do you draw the line, and how do you get around the constitutional guarantee of liberty and the prohibition against forced servitude?

this is a tough issue.
I don't think a fetus becomes a baby until it can think, interept feelings, and have consious awareness.

someone once told me a story and it makes some sense-

"I once had a miscarriage. I was stunned when it first happened. I knew that if I were to get pregnant I'd most likely have an abortion. I knew that it would be a tough descision but it would be the best one to make.

I did cry when it happened but I knew it was a fetus not a baby. I cried because it was my fetus. I didn't feel bad for it because it didn't know it was alive, couldn't feel anything, and couldn't think.
I felt bad that I didn't have the chance to choose between an abortion or having a baby- but in a way I was happy. the choice would have been very difficult to make.

I'm pro-choice and understand that no one makes this descision with out a reason. I understand a fetus is not a baby but can one day become a baby. I think abortion should only be legal during the time frame when the fetus lacks the parts of the brain that think"

I think it is wrong to do it when the baby has formed. I have seen those pictures where you can see the baby mutilated. It's horrible.
However, when people abort while it's still just cells multiplying i think it's OK. Not smart, and not the best thing you can do, just not SO wrong. If we were to get so upset about this, it could lead up to getting upset for all the sperm that guys waste. Think of all the millions of potential human beings on there!
But people should definitely be more careful, not just go and have unprotected sex knowing that if something happens they can have an abortion. That should only be done in EXTREME cases, like raped women. But i insist, it should only be done just as the woman finds out she's pregnant. Not wait months for it. I don't know if it can be done that soon though...

How are people who have killed with mental/emotional disabilities not humans beings? Aren't they going to be treated and kept under control before YOU'RE government KILLS them?

How SICK is it that you think a fetus (most likely the product of RAPE) is more of a human being than an adult human.

What if a woman is raped and becomes pregnant? Do you want her to go through the pain of giving birth to a rape baby and then have to look into the eyes of a human with half of a rapists DNA? EVERY. SINGLE. DAY.

What do you mean 'become' humans?? Dogs produce dogs, cows make cows and humans only produce humans. Is a fetus human life? Well concsider your first biology class when you learned there are ONE-CELLED living creatures. Also consider that if a single celled creature is ever found on Mars, the headlines will scream: LIFE ON MARS. Now, don't you realize that every fetus starts as a TWO-celled living creature? No doubt about it--a fetus is human life from the moment of conception.

You may find some of your answers at the following site: http://www.familylife.com/fltoday/default.asp?id=5867
Look under the Biblical Approach to Family Planning. Dennis Rainey has some insightful answers. For myself, I believe life starts at conception. That is my opinion. At ten days old the fetus' feet are perfectly formed and at 14 days old the brain is active. At the time of dialation and cueritage the fetus shrinks away and moves as far away from the instrument that is trying to cut away at it. The fetus can feel pain. There are many controversies surrounding the question of 'in the case of rape', statistics show that it is a rare case that a woman gets pregnant during rape. The body must be relaxed to conceive. I think it is like 1% that become pregnant. Roe v.s. Wade was founded on lies and later that was brought to light. There has been a lot of misinformation that has been given to the public and that is unfortunate. I would suggest to keep an open mind and do the research for yourself.

They are human beings, and abortion is definitely murder. Anyone who says otherwise is a selfish liar who is trying to justify their wrong-doing. What do you call people who take things out on the innocent, helpless party? Bullies. And what do you call murder? A sin. God will be the judge of those who commit that sin, and all others. You can argue till you're blue in the face, but it won't change the mind of any evil person who has decided that they are more important than justice. Just relax and let God handle it. Make sure you keep your own life on the straight and narrow.

Its nice that you have chosen this forum to voice your opinions. American public sentiment is often overlooked.

I personally think that if a woman goes out, has a careless one night stand with someone she doesn't even know, and ends up pregnant, she should not be entitled to an abortion. It is NOT meant to be an alternative to taking responsibility for your actions.

However, what of the woman whom is grabbed and raped at gunpoint, and ends up pregnant? Should she have to give birth to her rapists baby? What of children whom have almost zero chance of survival at birth. Should we bring a child into this world only for it to die?

I think that if a woman wants an abortion, she should either have definate medical reasons (the baby will die at birth due to extreme defects) or she is a rape victim. And to make sure she is a rape victim, she must have a copy of the police report she made out about her rape.

I don't think it should just be a way to pretend the past didn't happen.

From the time of conception, it is a life. Even as a blob in the mother's womb, it has a heartbeat. Terminology such as zygote or fetus is irrelevant. To me, abortion is murder. But of course, there are certain circumstances in which abortions are done, and people have their reasons for terminating pregnancies. I do respect their beliefs. However, abortion as a means of birth control (i.e. pregnancy occurs due to peoples' inability to keep their pants on) is outright murder.

You will never be in the position that some people are in when they get an abortion.

That said, having been around children I will never reccommend anyone get an abortion, aside from medical reasons (baby will not make it/poses a risk to the mother's life). Have the child and put it up for adoption if you must, but please don't abort it.
