bio and genetic engineering. also... what is cell transformation, the origin of replication, DNA ligase, and an antibiotic resistance gene? please help!

DNA ligase is an enzyme that Joins (ligates) two short DNA strands together usually during replication.
origin of replication (ori) is the point in a double stranded DNA where replication will begin.
antibiotic resistant gene is normally present in bacteria that enables them to sort off "fight off" or withstand the effects of the antibiotics (antibiotics are drugs or substances that kill or prevent growth of bacteria). most common resistant genes especially in the bacteria is the bla gene that codes for ampicilin resistance.

These are all genetics terms for bio.

Replication site--where DNA replication occurs on the DNA strang
Cell transformation--making a cell take up foreign DNA to force it to pick up a gene
DNA ligase--it "glues" the DNA strands back together after replication occurs, espeically in the Okazaki fragments, where the pieces are not totally bonded together
Antibiotic resistance gene--it allows certain bacteria to grow despite the antibiotic. Antibiotics usually kill bacteria, but when they mutate and get the resistance gene, they can grow in the presence of that antibiotic.

Check on Wikipedia, it's pretty good for giving definitions if you need specific ones. Mine are just simple explainations.
