I believe so for the simple reason I do not find a gay relationship is healthy for a young child to be exposed to ! Example parent teacher meetings 2 women or 2 men go with their "CHILD" and introduce themselves as the parents ! What these poor children see in the home especially at this impressionable age ! If they see this behavior enough they will think thats the way of life ! Give me a BREAK !!!!

give ME a break, first, I am a happily married heterosexual, not that it matters......I am in total disagreement with your thought process; any family that will raise a child with love is a family worthy of raising a child no matter their sexual orientation. There are too many children without homes or in homes with heterosexual parents who are neglected or abused and deserve loving families.

Wake up and get over being a homophobic human being; perhaps go meet a family with homosexual adults as the parents, it's hard to hate people you have met.

It is a way of life. Granted, it's not your way. Every family is different. If a child is blessed with two parents who love them, then that is a wonderful thing! In this world of deadbeat dads and drug-addicted moms, with thousands of abused and neglected kids, gender restrictions imposed on raising a child are just plain ignorant. If you don't like gay couples adopting children, then the answer is astoundingly simple: Don't put your child up for adoption! As for any of the wonderful mothers who are selfless enough to put their babies up for adoption, bravo for knowing that your child will be raised in a loving home.

What a crock.
Adoption should be based on the quality of the parents. If YOU don't like seeing 2 men or 2 women together then that's YOUR problem. But if they can make good parents for unwanted children who were probably ditched by a man & a woman....then they should have the oppotunity to adopt. Their last concern should be how it "looks" at the PTA meetings.

no, the question should not be mandatory. But you do raise a good point. What I believe though is that a gay relationship is developed naturally and isn't taught. So, whether the child sees a gay relationship makes no difference. The child will end up growing and discovering their own type of relationship. Its nature for the child's future sexual orientation, not nurture. Get over it.

First of all, the majority of gay people were raised by STRAIGHT parents. Why do you put child in quotes? The youngster is a child regardless of who is raising him/her. 3rd, why do you make this your business? Not all children being raised by gays or lesbians are adopted. Some are products of previous relationships, some were artificially conceived, and especially in the case of lesbians (and sorry if it sounds crass) if they want a baby, they walk into a bar and find a guy looking to "plug someone" and dude thinks he got lucky.

It would be nice. We don't need any gay parents raising children.

I don't think so. I think that they go to a loving and stable home is what is most important.
