My teacher wants the class to do a project on earthquakes . what should I do it on. he said we can do it on a famous earthquakes , major faults , etc. will you tell me what I shoul do it on and a good web site or book about it.

Saint Andrea's fault in California is a famous one. It has been constantly trembling and making major movements since its discovery. It is a famous tourist sight to this day and is still known to have many tremors. Also, if you decide to do this project, I am sure your teacher would give you many bonus points for including the "ring of fire" on teh project, which is a ring of very active volcanoes in the atlantic, near california, where it causes many of the activity in the world, including natural disasters in asia. Use Wikipedia.org!!!

Ask him if you can do your project on earthquake safety. That should be a relatively easy and interesting topic to research. If not, try doing a project on how earthquakes are located.
