Around 4000 babies are killed every single day in America. That is 25,000 humans killed every week. 109,000 humans killed every month. 1.3 million babies are killed a year. A staggering 1.3 million people in one single year. About 119 people died a day in a car accident in 2005. That is 43,435 people dying a year in a car accident, over one million less than the people that are killed in abortions.

Abortion on demand is the lowest form of convenience I know of. I am pro choice about choosing to share your body with someone.

Just think if those chldren were born to those mothers and fathers who did not want them? that is 1 million more in foster care, being abused, left home alone, molested, killed after they were born. People nowadays don't want to be bother with the children that are already here so why add more fuel to the fire. Every womens show from Oprah to the View is telling women they need a brake and a getaway from their children they don't need a getaway from anything else. Kids have it rough here in the world. It is best that they are nmot brought here and then tortured and mistreated. MOst of these women regardless to race or income complain about raising their children. The children are alwasy seen as a distraction or a burden it is really pitiful. The women now are really sick minded. so they do not need to be raising an additional 1.3 million kids to be abused and left at day care, in the car, home alone, or whereever, people are to selfish and the men are now where to be found. Unless they are child molester then they are beating your door down to get in.

No matter what your opinion might be, no matter whose statistics you read, no matter how mad you get, no matter how many abortions are performed a year, no matter any of it..........it is the womans right to make decisions concerning HER OWN BODY. No one, not you nor the government nor the police - nobody can force a woman to give birth if she doesn't want to......
The only one who gets a say in the matter is the one who is pregnant - and only her.
And - if you don't have a uterus or if you have never had a uterus - your opinion doesn't count anyway.

goldenrae - The CDC reports about 2349 abortions per day in 2000. I would expect the number to have increased some but I cannot find a more credible source. Is that number high enough or do we need to go higher before its a problem?

cassandra - by your logic there are plenty of old people that are unwanted out there. No one to care for them, a burden or drain on their family. Should we kill them too?
You people that use the unwanted child angle you tell me how many of these aborted children are from middle class and above people that could afford them Just because its more convenient for you does not make it ok to kill a baby.

You don't go far enough.
To save an aborted fetus cost 4500 dollars per year. To save a loved and living child costs 1 dollar a day. So if you save 1 million fetuses you are condemming 12 million loved and wanted children to death. So your numbers are simply proof that the pro life movement is based upon a will to murder children. For each fetus saved, 12 loved and wanted children are killed.
The link to the holocaust is horrible. Hitler was like you. He believed that it was OK to kill 12 Jews to save one pureblood. So you are exactly like Hitler and the pro choice movement is like Christ.
Thanks for the information. I hope you stop killing children. For more information click on my avatar.

people aren't killed during abortions- unless they are preformed illegally and the woman dies.
driving is a dangerous activity.
it is surprising because most people fear planes or fires and other things that can kill you, but have no issue getting in the car everyday- where they are likely to be injured or killed

A better source would help your argument. Could you provide that? The link I went to wasn't exactly a news site...

I think it's great that there are 1.3 million fewer unwanted babies. The life of an unwanted child is a nightmare than becomes society's nighmare. Abortion is a good thing.
Unless you think that 'every sperm is precious, every sperm is great, if a sperm gets wasted, god gets quite irate."
