I've been trying for a family for 8 years and I've peed on more of those sticks than I can are to remember (or add up how much I've spent!). The thing to remember is that a positive is a positive, but a negative can be a false positive.

I would go back to your Dr and ask for your serum hCG levels to be checked, and if that comes up as negative then ask them what you should do next (throw the ball back in their court). It's annoying because a lot of the pregnancy symptoms double up as pre-menstrual (including breast tenderness) - I've been fooled too many times!

Wishing you luck, take care :o)

I would think after a few home tests they would be accurate, but you could be pregnant and not have enough of the hormone for it to be detected. After 2 months without a period, you should have enough hormones to get a positive.

I would suggest asking your doctor for a blood test, because if you are pregnant and not producing enough HCG, it could mean a miscarriage is on the way.

I do not mean to alarm you, but my sister went thru a miscarriage last April. When they tested her HGC levels at the hospital minutes after the miscarry, they could tell there weren't enough to support the baby to full term. So now she is 4 months pregnant and they tested her levels every few weeks until she was out of her first trimester.

I hope this is not the case with you, and if you are trying to conceive I would go back and ask for a blood test. No period and tender breasts seems to be unususal for you, since you are worried about it, and the doctor should want to at least find an answer for why this is happening to you.

Good luck, and go see a different doctor if this one won't help you. You deserve to know what's going on with your body.

you're in all probability pregnant-- fake positives are uncommon because of the fact a attempt can in basic terms be valuable if it possibilities up the being pregnant hormone on your urine. you have taken various distinctive manufacturers, so as that must be a area of the subject-- each and every attempt has distinctive sensitivity ranges and while you're very early on, some tests that are much less gentle ought to offer you a damaging examining. And are you utilising your first morning urine each and every time you have examined, or a minimum of protecting it for 4 hours before taking yet another attempt? If no longer-- your hormones won't be concentrated adequate on your urine to %. up on a attempt. Dilution could additionally reason fake negatives-- like in case you tried to drink countless water so which you may could pee returned precise away. in short-- fake negatives are plenty extra undemanding than fake positives!

Maybe you could as your doctor about it. Just a little helpful tip.

I took the urine tests and they were all negative. I needed a blood test to determine that I was pregnant. I was 16 weeks pregnant, before the doctor found out.

u probably aren't pregnant cuz most times tests from the doctor are correct. there could be other factors that might have stopped ur period...sometimes stress or emotional distress can do it. or perhaps something more serious. instead of getting a pregnancy test ask the doctor what he thinks could be wrong...he might be able to determine if it's just stress or something more serious.
