How do I clean a mattress that's been urinated on?

It has been a few days since the incident, and I still can't get the smell out. What is the best way to thoroughly clean the mattress?

I used this method and it worked well but I also sprayed the mattress with apple cider vinegar and left it in the sun to dry after cleaning with Borax But, make sure all of the Borax is off the mattress before using the vinegar

Dampen the affected area, but do not saturate it. Wetness spreads the urine.
Heavily sprinkle with borax like a shaker would; cover the whole area.
Rub borax into the mattress. Work borax into spill or stain well.
Vacuum up the powder.
Allow to dry in sunshine if possible or well-ventilated area away from dampness.
Return mattress to the bed when it is completely dry.

Short of tearing it open and replacing the insides, you're pretty much out of luck. The same thing happened with me, only it was cat urine...it does NOT come out. You'll have to bite the bullet and buy a new mattress. Sorry. If you can't afford one, just use a fabric freshener daily and a mattress pad beneath the sheet. If you flip the mattress and add the other stuff, you can mask it pretty well. But, yuck, you really want to sleep on that?

you will desire to purchase puppy stain and smell remover from the puppy keep . Spray it on and air it out. additionally purchase a water-resistant mattress protector for those destiny injuries with your little brother

Also I have heard that urine gone really works well with the urine smell and stains.
