The Wii has the ability to play old school games and it has new upcoming fun games, such as: Super Mario Galaxy, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, and Pokemon Revolution. The PS3 has Blue-Ray, ability to burn CD's and play in high def. There isn't any good games yet expect the original like boxing and army games.

In some more months, you'll have GTA IV, Saints Row, WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2007 and more so my opinion is PS3.

See personally, i like Wii, but only like 3 games for it.
But for PS3, I like a lot more.
There is a new ratchet and clank game coming out. Whether the price is too much, why would anyone want to miss out on the great list of games coming out in the next year?

Well I have both a PS3 and a Wii. I think both of them are really fun! But, I think if you're a hardcore gamer you should get the PS3. It definintely has better graphics and is very addicting!! But the Wii allows you to get off the couch and move around. If you're really easily amused though, you should get the Wii.

i have the ps3 and i love it if you plug it up to a high def tv the graphs are amazing and still amazing without a high def tv but more with a high def tv but anyway you can also play ps2 and ps1 games on it too so if you dont have enough money to buy one of the 60 dollar games there are too good games coming out on the ps3 and they are easier to find way easier to find than the wii
but if you dont have the money and want more games a more kid friendly/whole faimly fun one go with the wii but they are so hard to find

ps3-hands down. The graphics are UNREAL. But if u r gonna buy a ps3 id wait a little while cuz theres not that cool of games out right now and theres not a big selection. But id definately go with the ps3

To be honest there is no "better"
However the ps3 is more powerful in terms of graphics, speed, memory, extras, etc. But also higher in cost. But the wii is unique in the way you control it.
To be honest I think the wii is a "toy" and a ps3 is a "multi-media device"

-kid friendly
-comes with Wii Sports
-attracts nongamers
-good form of exercise (thanks to wiimote)
-quality games, ability to browse the net and play old games
Cons:
-rare
-can't play dvd's
Ps3
Pros:
-blu-ray
-high tech
-many computerized capabilities which I probably don't know of
-more common than wii
Cons:
-high price tag
-games appeal mainly to male teens, though there are some that are for everyone
It all depends on what you want more: a gaming system or a high tech entertainment system.

ps3 but they made a price mess up i think cuz the bluray cost 600 byitself which makes the ps3 real value without blue 100$

Nintendo wii because it gets you into the game and you feel like you are really doing it. the only good thing about a psp is that it is portable but i would get a wii if i were u!
