Very Peculiar Nintendo DS question...?

If I were to take my Nintendo DS, a handheld console, and paint its exterior with nail polish, or any type of paint, would that be safe?

I know this doesn't sound like a serious question, but it is. The DS should hopefully still work afterwards. I know I can buy skins, but I'm just that picky. :p

Yes it would be safe just don't let it go in side of it!!!!!!!!
