ok ive had my period for 12 days now im getting kinda worried, could something be wrong?

Well it depends on how old you are. If your pretty young (in your teens) this kinda thing happens. Most teens have irregular periods til their in the 20s and their cycles become "normal" but I would still go the the doctor just to be safe. If your period is really irregular they might put you on birthcontrol to regulate it. My only advice is to just try not to stress too much, just get to a doctor and find out whats up. It could be something or it could be nothing, just a wacked out period. Goodluck

You don't have to worry about anything, periods only last for 5 to 7 days but yours is 12 days! So, i would say visit your doctor as soon as possible. Or tell your mom about it. Everything will be ok trust me and 'God'.

Possibly but sometimes in the first couple years things are irregular and some times periods last longer at first...wait a couple more days then see a doctor.

12 days is an awful long time to be bleeding. I would ask you Mom to make you an appointment to be seen by an ob/gyn. Don't worry, it's probably nothing but you should get examined to make sure. If you've never had an examination before... don't worry about it. It's not a big deal.

It is really hard to say if something is wrong because you know yourself better than anyone. Without knowing how long it normally lasts or how heavy it is I can't say. Also, age and how long you have had your period, how active you were and are now are important. If you are concerned it is best to go to your dr. and have them examine you.

no periods can last up to 14 days, but if it last more then go to a doctor!

dont be worried, my longest period lasted 14 days and unless the flow is really strong its probably nothing to worry about.

have you recently started taking birth control? if so the dose isn't right go to your doctor. how long is your period normally? i would definately go to the doctor it's probably nothing serious but you should get it checked out

no b/c different girls periods last longer or shorter. go tell a mom or docter, just to be on the safe side.
