Please explain your answer. I personally don't think they should, just because of their "social status". Obviously, you'll give special treatment to the President of your country (no matter how much of a bimbo you think he/she is) because he is the law. But I don't think it's fair that a store will keep open late just because so and so wants to shop there and that so and so, is who they are. You?

Yes. They deserve a special dose of reality to jolt them out of this notion that they are somehow better than everyone else.

I don't think that deserve is the word I would use, but I understand why they get it. In the big shopping districts paparrazzi is always taking pictures of the celebs shopping and what designer they are wearing at awards events is always broadcasted. Whether people like celebs or not they are the ones who set the trends so they are the best advertisement a store or label can have. I also think that if celebs didn't lead glamorus and lucrative lifestyles they wouldn't celebrities. They do get a lot of gift packages because it's such good advertisement for the public to see them using certain products, but they aren't free, there is a 40% gift tax they have to pay for those.

NO NO NO special treatment! They pay the businesses to stay open later or open earlier just because they want to shop there. Yet, if you were almost naked and freezing and the store was closing you'd be snubbed and told to come back the next day during business hours. I know some people who have even been told to leave a store when they weren't finished shopping because the store was closing and these people would be in the store about 10 minutes or so before closing time. It just ain't right that they get special treatment while I bust my butt looking for a job or working at my job and they don't even have respect for ppl at fast food resturants or w/e cuz that's just their place to get something real quick without being noticed. It's just wrong!!!

No, they put their pants on one leg at a time, just like the rest of us. I also do not think they need 40,000 dollar gift packages at the award ceremonies, on top of their already outrageous wages.

In retrospect, they wouldn't be celebrities without us. We should get the special treatment, because if we do not watch their movies/shows, then things will be pulled off the air, and movie companies would go bankrupt. lol.

In all seriousness, we are all people in the end, and those who have lots of cash, should not be treated better or differently than those who do not have those things.

We live in a capitalist country... of course we court the people who make money. And to boot - if a celebrity is seen using your product or visiting your place of business then BOOM! Every celebrity-wannabe will be right behind them.

I don't agree with their special treatment (did you know that they get tons of free stuff at award shows and what not... like brand new cars, etc - tell me how THAT makes any sense... rich people getting incredibly expensive gifts...) but that's unfortunately how our warped society handles things.

No i don't think they deserve any personal treatment becasue singing or acting is just there job. And everyone has a job so they just want to show the world what it is. I also don't think they should get paid a lot of money for it because firefighters and policemen risk their lives everyday and do they getr paid a million bucks for it??????????

Oh and girl i totally agree wit u

No special treatment. They get it because they can afford to spend huge money when they do shop somewhere. Plus it's good advertisement for the store.

NO. they are still ppl like us its not like dey are the president. its just because dat dey have money dey get respected. if we normal ppl go there dey will just give a dirty look just because we're not rich. anyone who has loads of money can get special treatment because they can pay for it.but too bad most of these shop/boutique owners are kiss ups whenever a celeb wants to shop there.

No, I don't. They already make more money then God for doing less then most of us regular people. Why should they deserve to get special treatment on top of that? They can afford everything without it.

Brand should get more than a year in jail for the wreck. If it were you and I, it would be life problably. She won't even give a personal apology. What's her problem? Like the song says"Almost doesn't count".
